Toothless

Well, Marley has been waiting a long time to loose a tooth, and finally she did. We were all at cousin Parker's birthday party, and Marley's tooth was barley hanging on. Her uncle Nate said "I'll give you a dollar now if you let your mom pull that out," and she agreed. So we all started to count to three and got to two, and that's when her mom pulled that tooth out. She was in shock for about a minute and then remembered her money Nate was going to give her. He gave her two dollars (what a nice uncle). Then she went around to show everyone. Her cousin Lilly saw the tooth and right away wanted her tooth pulled too. Marley was very proud of herself and so happy.

The 80's are back

We went to our friend Bryson's Birthday party. The Theme, The 80's. It was a riot remembering all the fashion trends that were in the 80's. I was fun getting dressed up and laughing at what we looked like. Our kids thought we were nuts. Oh well, We had a great time.
These are a few of our friends that were at the party, Adrianne and Bryson in the middle and Keiko and Rob on the end.

Boden's first day at Preschool

Well now it is Boden's turn. He has been asking since Marley started school when is it going to be his turn. He was very excited to wear his school clothes, and shoes, and has had his backpack ready for a month. He was even excited to get his picture taken, so everyone can see him going to school. What a cute little man I have.
He goes to preschool two days a week, and thinks
he is going to ride the bus like his sister.

This is a spiderman backpack, by the way.

The entry way to his school.

This is Cousin Dylan, they are doing preschool together.
They will have so much fun together.

First Day of First Grade

Well it was a very exciting day. A whole new class, a new teacher, and now lunch at school. Marley was sure a good sport today. She had lots of butterfly's in her stomach but made it through the day with flying colors and loved it. She likes her teacher and met new friends and even managed to remember her lunch code so that she could eat lunch.

Camping at Bear Lake

We went camping up St. Charles canyon in Bear Lake with the Merrills. It was great, and everyone had a good time. We took our dog Kaycee with us and she had a good time too. The kids were alot of fun and we all LOVE camping. Cory, Marley and Boden to the Minnatonka cave and Marley was so proud that she climed all of the 444 stairs in and out. Boden climed a total of about 5 before he tired out and had to be carried. We hiked alot in the hillls and played down by the creek with Kaycee, she loved the water so much that one time she got a little too close to Bo while he was, (ahem) watering the weeds, and got a face full. She had to thrown in the creek to be cleaned. The lake is so beautiful this year and our annual golf game was was another record breaker.
Day 3 and everyone's still smiling ..... (weird)Who's mama's cutest little piggy...?

Grandpa Cliff and the kids hunting for a Sasquatch.
Bo and Piper on snack duty (again...)
Grandma Patti managed to wrangle ALL the grandkids into one picture frame.

At The Beach

On Saturday after Golfing we all went to the Bear Lake beach. We had such a fun day. It was very relaxing and the kids had so much fun. Marley spent the entire time playing in the sand and making a castle, and tring to keep the little ones from helping too much. Piper loved the snacking and dipping her toes in the water. Boden like a boy, enjoyed everything, and Cory had fun dragging whoever he could into the water.

The Willes's

We went last weekend to our friend Jen and Jeremys house. They live in Jerome over by Twin Falls. We had a good time with their little family. We went to see the falls and also some ice caves. It was so great. Our kids are all the same age, Trey and Marley are 8 months apart. Boden and Landon are two months apart. Cute little Kamryn and Piper are six months apart. They all had so much fun playing together. We for sure need to get together again soon. We are so blessed to have such good friends.

Bear Lake Photos

Bear Lake

We had a great week at Bear Lake. Most of the family was there. We went swimming in the pool everyday. We went miniature golfing (or Boden calls it golf coursing) one day. It was mostly just fun doing nothing but lounging around. We all had a great time, and Grandma Sandy had a good time spoiling the kids and giving them whatever they wanted. We love bear Lake.

Lesson almost learned

So, I have a very bad habit of leaving my curling iron on or my straightener on. I really try to remember, I know that it is dangerous and could cause a fire, but I really do try. Well this morning I could not find my straightener, and looked and look all over, suddenly I got a flashback of when I was a teenager living at home, and I would leave my curling iron on and my Dad would unplug it and fling it outside into the backyard. Whenever I would start to get ready and could not see my curling iron sitting there, I would just walk to the backyard and go a curling iron hunt. So today when I could not find it I called up Cory at work and asked,

"Did you take my straightener?"

"Ya I did.

"Where is it, I'm trying to get ready."

"Well, I am trying to teach you a lesson, to turn that thing off."

"OK, I promise to turn that thing off. Where is it?"

"I hid it in the closet"

Lava water slide

When we were at our Merrill family reunion in lava, we went to the pool one day. In lava they have a water slide. This water slide they wont let kids go down with anyone, they have to go by themselves. So Boden who is our little swimmer had to go down the slide. He love it and went over and over again and again. He made me laugh. Also, he had to wear his spiderman goggles non stop with his spiderman swimsuit. Marley was so scared to go down the slide, but after she watched Boden go down a few times she thought she would be brave enough to go.

This is Bo as he came down the slide the first time.

This water slide is a black hole and Boden did not like this one it was too dark inside.

This is Cory, ohhh juu get water in yrr eyes.

Yeah for Marley, she made it.

Boden tring the belly down.

Kaycee

Well, we got hooked. She came into our life so sneaky. We were at Cory's parents house for dinner when his cousin brought her over "just to look at," he said. When the time came to leave we were in love doggie-style. It was the craziest thing, we didn't want a dog, we already have Skittles the cat. Why would we want a dog. We said we will just take her to show Cliff and maybe he would want her, if not, we would return her. The owners agreed. We took her to Cliff but he didn't want a dog just yet. When Stacy saw the dog she immediatly wanted her, but Heath said no. So she came home with us "only overnight". Well the sweet little thing got our hearts and we fell hard. So this is the newest member of our big and crazy family. Kaycee !

This is Marley who promises to clean up all the dog poop and make sure she has food and water. (yeah, right!)
