So you think you can dance

So you think you can dance is one of my most favorite shows on T.V. Cory bought me a ticket to see the show in Utah. I went with Dani, she works with Cory and loves the show as much as I do. We had a great time and I absolutely loved watching the dancers. Woohoo!

Neighborhood Race

Yesterday morning our little neighborhood had races with each age group. Marley and Boden have been looking forward for this for weeks. They each got a certificate and a ribbon after their race. Boden raced first with ages 4-6. He did fantastic with all those bigger kids. He just liked running with other kids most of all. Marley ran next with kids ages 7-9. She did very well too. It was a hard run and she was exhausted when she was finished. I am so proud of my racers, and boy did I cheer them on. I'm sure I was the loudest mom.

Boden's First day of Preschool

Boden went to Miss Sherry's last year and loved every minuite of it. So he was really excited to go this year because he knew what to expect. It really makes me excited for him to go when he is so excited himself. He is so great.

This is little Piper MAD because Marley went to school, and now Boden left for school and she wants to go too.

The Blackfoot Fair

We love to go to the fair. We went on Tuesday and it was one of the nicest times we have gone. It wasn't that busy and we got to see and do everything that we wanted. One new thing we tried this year was the Tractor Pull for kids. Boden wanted to do it and when it came right down to do it he was really nervous. He was so stinkin' cute though. So he had to race some other kid with weights in the back according to their age, and though he didn't win it was fun. He said right after "That was So hard."

Piper decided to get herself dressed. She first picked out her hat and skirt. Then had to have her red boots on. Cory and I just laughed because she then needed to go ride Bodie's scooter. What a silly little girl.

We had a nice relaxing weekend at my sis in laws family's cabin. I was great. My brother Nate made a big water slide for the kids to play on and it was a bit bumpy from what Marley said, but they liked it a lot.

Marley's First Day of School

On the 21st Marley started 2nd grade. She is in Mrs. Melines class. She loves her teacher, and has a lot of her friends in her class. She is so excited and ready to learn more. She is going to have a great school year.

Willow Flats

All of the Briscoe's went camping to Willow Flats last weekend. It was great. It was dirty. It was so fun. We all had our trailers and had a huge group site that fit us all. Everyone else brought their 4 wheelers and motor bikes, and it was a crazy dust cloud most of the day with the kids riding them. Boden was in heaven riding the mini 4 wheeler with Dylan. Marley was oh so happy with her cousins, and Piper was happy with any snack that she got. We loved the action filled weekend and can't wait to do it again.

Downetta Hot Springs

We went to Downetta camping and to the pool for a couple of days. We went with Cory's sister Angela and her kids. We went on a Monday and came home on Tuesday night. I was so nice. We just about had the place to ourselves. We all loved the pool. It was so fun to watch Marley swim and to see how good of a swimmer she is. She was very brave. She went down the dragon water slide six times and was so proud of herself. Boden and Piper loved the little kid slide and we could hardly keep them off it.
