Piper had to dance on Saturday for a dance competition. I got pictures in her costume, but my pictures of her on stage did not turn out. I will hopefully post pictures at her recital. She did so good. Her first dance was ballet. Then the second was tap. I was not to sure about the Lion costume, but this was the cutest dance. They were Lions in the jungle. Very cute!

Easter Egg Hunts

Briscoe Family Easter egg hunt.

Every year my sister and I take our kids over to were my Grandma lives. They always have a great Easter egg hunt. This year because of the snow that had it indoors. It was not bad. The kids still had a blast. They all ended up with lots of candy and MONEY. Boden got outta their with 6 bucks. How fantastic is that.

Sunday Easter Dress

Ohhh, this day wore me out. The kids wore their Eater outfits the Sunday before Easter. We have church early in the morning and did not get a chance to take pictures before. So I told them that I needed to take their picture after church. Mistake! Koen was soooo tired. Boden ran in the house as fast as he could to get Sunday clothes off. I had to bribe him and finally he agreed to put his shirt and tie on only, but he was leaving the Levi's on. Marley was a bit on the grouchy side and it was like pulling teeth to get her to smile. Then there is Piper who is always ready to smile for the camera( and why she is in all the photos).

Decorating EGGS

Coloring Eggs was sorta fun. The kids had a great time but I always wonder why I put the effort in. They argue over colors. The sparkle egg kit I bought Marley used on one egg then it was gone. Of course a cup or two of the dye was spilt. But still, it was time spent with my 4 little things and at the end of it all, I loved every moment.

Koen Walking

My baby Koen is finally walking. I was just waiting for this to happen. Marley walked at 9 months, Boden at 10 months, Piper at 11 months and so I was guessing Koen would be 12 months. Nope at 14months to the day he walked, and he is adorable. To get him to walk we would bribe him with the cell phone. He was already everywhere, and now he is everywhere faster.

Outside

It has been so nice outside lately and Piper has been wanting to go outside to ride her new bike that she got for Christmas. So while the older kids were at school we went out. Koen loved it, and through a fit when I bought him in. It was fun watching him explore, last summer he was just an itty bitty baby.

Anniversary

March 12th was our 11th wedding anniversary. What a great 11years. We went out to dinner to Texas Roadhouse and then to the movie Avitar. It was such a great night, I love this boy.

Marley's 9th Birthday

Marley turned nine on March 7th. I can't believe how old she is. She is a wonderful girl, and has many friends. She had a party with some of her friends and cousins. They ate pizza and made necklaces. Her birthday cake was home made asfault pie. Then the next day we had family parties with both sides. She got a desk for her room. She was very excited about that.

Marley and her grandma Patti. They share birthdays. Patti's is the day after.

Boden's 6th Birthday

February 25, was Boden's birthday. He was my first child to actually plan his own birthday party without my knowledge. We usually take turns with birthday parties and this year is Marley's turn to have a friend party. We told Boden that he would have a just a family party. Well the next day I got a call from a mother in Boden's class that called for details about Boden's party. She said he told her her son was invited and that it was on Thursday at his house. Well, I was surprised, and told the mom I would call her back. Then I talked to Bo. He said "ya I planed it and we are going to play Wii games and have cake and ice cream. I just could not tell that excited little boy no, so he did get his friend party and they did play Wii games and he loved every bit of it. I now decided to let every kid have a friend party in the same year, and then have a a break for a couple of years.

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day. Cory and I went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with some friends and had a great time without kids. Our Valentine gift to each other is finishing our basement. The kids got candy and were as happy as could be with just that. I love, love, love my little family.

Fun times

This was at my niece Lilly's birthday party. She had it at Randi's Tumbling. The kids had a blast and my camera was throwing a fit so I didn't get very many pictures. Boden and Marley were jumping off the platform like crazy monkeys and Piper loved the slide that went into the foam pit. What a great place for a party.
